Alain Marty founded Cercle Wine Business (CWB) in 1991. Today, it is Europe's leading network of wine-loving business and professional leaders.

The CWB continues 3 objectives

  • Find the France's best wines and winemakers for dinners prepared by exceptional chefs
  • Supporting loyalty, by allowing members to invite guests from outside the Circle to each evening (customers, prospective customers, journalists, VIPs, partners, etc.)
  • Enablingbroaden your network of contacts meeting many French and international business leaders 

The 1,100 members (70% CEOs of ETIs) meet every month in Paris in the lounges of the Bristol, the Ritz or the Shangri-La Hotel in the presence of personalities from the world of business, gastronomy and wine:

  • 20h45 - Dinner prepared by Tony Xu (1 Michelin star chef) and Simon Havage (Executive Chef of the Shangri-La) or Arnaud Faye, Executive Chef of the Hôtel Le Bristol, combined with a tasting of great French and international wines (in the presence of the winemakers).
  • 23h00 - Closing dinner
  • 23h15 - Carré VIP at Castel (15 rue Princesse - Paris VI)

The tastings are co-hosted by David Cobboldco-founder of the Académie des Vins et Spiritueux and Philippe Faure-BracWorld's Best Sommelier.

Le Cercle Wine Business is present in France (Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes, Tours, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Rennes and Strasbourg) and in International (Luxembourg, Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, London and New York).

The aim is to have 100 sites worldwide by 2027.
